The other day, I took a walk around the farm. Actually, I was going to my aunt’s to take more pictures of Meadow, but I stopped to get some farm pictures on the way there. (All of the three minutes it takes to walk there…) Here’s what’s happening on the farm this month.
Aesthetic. It’s a word that’s used a lot nowadays, especially online. But what does it mean, really? According to the definition, aesthetic kind of just means beautiful. What is interesting is that, when I use the word “aesthetic”, I don’t mean beautiful, but well-composed, light, airy, coordinated, modern, bright, and, of course, pleasing to the eye. Eye-candy. Don’t you think? At least that’s my definition of aesthetic.
My new cousin, Meadow Rain was born a week ago today! On Sunday I got to take some newborn pictures! We didn’t get very many because most of the little outfits my aunt bought for her were too big, but we’re going to do some more soon. Enjoy!
Hello, and welcome to my new series: Basic Photography for Beginners! In this series I will start at the beginning and explain basic photography. This course can be helpful to you if you have a dSLR, a point and shoot, or even just a phone. You also don’t even need to be interested in photography as a hobby or job – good photography skills are important for everyone, especially since many people now have a camera accessible to them on their phone. Today I’ll start with two major elements: composition and light.
Hello hello! As I’m sure you guessed, we are back from our trip! We had a simply marvelous time and I can’t wait to share all about it. I’ll start with Sunday, the day after we arrived. Below are photos and then my journal entry.
This past weekend I had the opportunity to take this beautiful girl’s senior pictures. Joanna decided to do an urban background and I’m so pleased with her choice – it suits her so well and it was something new to experiment with for me! Joanna was so easy to work with and pose – it was freezing cold outside but she was game for anything!
Last week, we (meaning Granddaddy, Daddy, Mama and Muttie) moved a high tunnel into the garden that Granddaddy and the boys built. It just so happened that it got moved just as the sun was setting – and, as I had my camera, I got some amazing pictures!
Hey, guys! So it’s been a while since I did an “around the farm” post. I figured it was time for another!
