Custom-Made 1940’s Suit Review


Hey guys! So back in November, when Jo-Ann’s had their black Friday sale, I bought some adorable vintage patterns. Among them wass this 1940’s suit (Simplicity 8242) that I fell in love with right away. But I had a bit of a dilemma – who was going to make it? My sewing talent is nearly nonexistent, so I certainly couldn’t…so I started looking around for people who I remembered were really good at dressmaking and such. I dug up Victoria, whose blog I’d already followed for quite a while, and guess what? She was willing to make me my suit!

Guess what? It’s time for Outfit Of The Month! I have been so excited to do this. There are actually quite a few outfits I’d like to do, and it was really hard to pick.
